AI Data Analytics & Strategy Bootcamp Curriculum (March 2025)

Learn to analyze, summarize, and synthesize large amounts of unstructured data (articles, PDFs, transcripts, reports) using ChatGPT. Improve research efficiency while maintaining human storytelling.

Module 1

Research & Writing with Unstructured Data

  • ChatGPT Plus

    • Analyzing writing for structural consistency and voice

    • Advanced AI prompting for deep research

    • First-draft generation using conversational chain-of-thought prompting

    • Using the Canvas for editing

    • Getting feedback on your writing

    • Adapting your writing for short-form content

  • Anyone who regularly researches and produces reports, white papers, news articles, or other long form content for business purposes.

Module 2

Data Analytics & Visualizations with Structured Data

Learn how to extract insights from structured data (CSVs, tables, financial data) using ChatGPT’s Code Interpreter. Generate visualizations to support decision-making.

Strategy & Problem-Solving with Reasoning Models

Use AI reasoning frameworks to analyze business challenges, develop strategic recommendations, and support decision-making.

  • ChatGPT, Claude, You.com, Perplexity.  Pick your favorite LLM or test out a few.  No subscriptions required.

  • Large language models (LLMs), persona creation, tree-of-thoughts prompting, decision-making simulations

  • Those interested in leadership and strategic applications of AI.

Module 4

Building a GPT to Automate Your Workflow

Learn how to build a custom GPT that automates repetitive tasks, organizes data, and streamlines workflows for your business.

  • ChatGPT Plus

    • Identifying components of workflows that can be automated

    • Writing a robust set of instructions for a GPT

    • Designing a GPT with domain knowledge

Module 5

Foundations of Generative AI for Executives

This foundational session will explore fundamental concepts, practical applications, and the ethical landscape of AI technologies. 

  • This session will introduce you to over a dozen different Generative AI applications including ChatGPT, Midjourney, Runway, Synthesia, Adobe Firefly, You.Com, Claude, Suno, and Perplexity.  No subscriptions required.

  • Generative AI basics, applications, ethical considerations

  • Beginners and those looking for a technical and ethical foundation—sets the stage for all other sessions.

Module 6

Visual Storytelling with Generative AI

Create diverse and inclusive images using AI tools. Craft visually compelling and ethically-minded content with consistent character designs.

  • DALL-E, Midjourney, or Adobe Firefly. We will cover prompting in all three applications. Midjourney will require a basic $10/month subscription. All other applications are free.

  • Image generation,visual and inclusive language, consistency in character design

  • Individuals of all skill levels looking to learn how to prompt using both language and reference images.

Module 7

The Basics of Programming with AI

Lay the foundation for your AI adventures with Python! Learn essential programming skills and gain hands-on experience with interactive coding exercises.

  •  ChatGPT, Google Collab.  No subscriptions required.

  • Python programming for ChatGPT Applications

  • People looking for some basic python coding skills, especially those interested in more advanced ChatGPT applications.

Module 8

The Moving Sound of Business Intelligence

Learn how to create personalized multimedia content using creative storytelling, AI-composed music, images, and video.

  • Runway, Luma Dream Machine, Suno, and CapCut.  You can get started using the beta versions,  but may need to purchase a subscription or credits to complete your project.

  • Video generation, music generation, multimedia integration

  • Anyone interested in exploring multimedia projects.
